The vote for interim speaker won’t be an easy one unless the Democrats get behind McHenry. According to Jim Banks, a lot of Republicans will oppose it:
.@Jim_Banks called election of speaker pro tem “the biggest F U you to Republican voters.”
Banks said “more than half of Republicans” will oppose it, meaning it will need majority Democratic support

He’s not wrong. But who do we have to thank for this? Matt Gaetz. He blew it up and how the Republican caucus is in shambles.
We’ll bring the vote for McHenry to you live as soon as it begins.
