Rep. Jim Jordan has won the nomination vote by the House Republican caucus today in their closed door meeting where they just finished a secret ballot.

I’ll let you know what the vote count was. I will be interesting to see if he’s got the number of votes needed to win on the House floor. From the way it sounds, I’m not getting my hopes up…

WAY short of a total to be in a position to go to the floor.
He's 65 votes short of 217.
