UPDATE: 2ND PACKAGE! — Joe Biden just received a “mail bomb” like the others!

It looks like Joe Biden is the latest to receive one of these “mail bombs” that have been targeting prominent Democrats from Washington to New York and elsewhere.

Here’s what we know:

NY POST – A suspicious device addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden was found Thursday at a postal facility in Delaware, according to reports.

The package — which was intercepted at the facility in New Castle — was similar to the ones that were sent to several top Democrats and CNN, according to NBC News Philadelphia.

Federal law enforcement authorities looking into the possibility of a possible explosive device addressed to Biden swept his Delaware home Wednesday but nothing was found.

Investigators could be seen early Thursday at the US Postal Service facility along Quigley Boulevard in New Castle, where the bomb squad deployed a robot.

That makes Joe Biden the eighth person to receive on of these.

In related news, Robert de Niro also received a manilla bomb package at his restaurant this morning, making him the seventh:

A suspicious package was sent to Robert De Niro’s Tribeca restaurant, police sources told The Post early Thursday.

The parcel, which was addressed to De Niro, was sent to the Tribeca Grill at 375 Greenwich St. Police X-rayed the package and found it to be “the same” as the explosive devices mailed to top Democrats the day before, the sources said.

Security personnel at Tribeca Productions — a film and TV production company co-founded in 1989 by De Niro at the same location — notified police of the package at about 5 a.m., a law enforcement source told The Post.

It was located on the seventh floor, law enforcement sources told CNN. There was no need for an evacuation because the building was unoccupied.

The package had a return address to the Florida office of Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee.

So that’s NINE “bombs” sent to eight people. Hope they figure out who this terrorist is before someone actually gets hurt.
