A federal judge just put the kibosh on a law in Illinois that granted in-state tuition costs and other higher education benefits to illegal immigrants.

Judge Dugan ruled that Illinois's tuition and financial aid laws give unlawfully present aliens higher education benefits based on Illinois residency without making those same benefits available to all U.S. citizens regardless of residency, a direct violation of federal statute.

Taxpaying US citizens from out of state don’t get these benefits but illegal aliens do? Yeah totally unfair.
Judge Dugan is a Trump-appointed judge.
