Texas Governor Greg Abbott tweeted out what will be music to the ears of opponents of Obama’s illegal amnesty plan tonight:

He very soon after posted a statement about the ruling in the Houston Chronicle:
U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen late Monday ruled in favor of Texas and 25 other states that challenged President Obama’s executive action on immigration, according to a statement from Gov. Greg Abbott.
Abbott’s statement is below:
“President Obama abdicated his responsibility to uphold the United States Constitution when he attempted to circumvent the laws passed by Congress via executive fiat, and Judge Hanen’s decision rightly stops the President’s overreach in its tracks. We live in a nation governed by a system of checks and balances, and the President’s attempt to by-pass the will of the American people was successfully checked today. The District Court’s ruling is very clear — it prevents the President from implementing the policies in ‘any and all aspects.’”
While the ruling is only temporary, it’s a huge win for Abbot, Texas, and anyone who still believes the nation should be ruled by Law, and not merely MEN.
