Kavanaugh just passed the important cloture vote mostly along party lines, as you might expect. The vote was 51-49.
However one Democrat and one Republican switched places:

KEY YES VOTES:
Collins
Flake
Manchin
KEY NO VOTE:
Murkowski
W. Virginia Senator Joe Manchin voted yes for cloture, which doesn’t mean he’ll vote yes for the final vote but is a good sign. He’s also said previously that he would vote how his state wanted him to vote, which is FOR Kavanaugh.
Alaska Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski voted NO, which more than likely means she’ll vote no again on Saturday’s confirmation vote. She’s not up for reelection this year as she was reelected in 2014. She will be up for reelection in 2020 and should she vote against Kavanaugh on the final vote, every Alaskan should remember that and kick her RINO butt out of the Senate.
https://twitter.com/elainaplott/status/1048223420402552832That’s true. But even if one Senator like Manchin switches to a NO vote which would make it 50-50, Mike Pence can swoop in and save the day.
If Susan Collins announces a "no" vote on Brett Kavanaugh later today, and assuming Lisa Murkowski stays "no" Saturday, then Democrat Joe Manchin will have to vote "yes," and Mike Pence will probably have to break the tie — first tiebreaker in Supreme Court confirmation history.

Now that the Senate has ended debate, the 30 hour countdown has begun to the final vote. Alaska should use this time to make their voices heard to Murkowski.
