BREAKING: Kavanaugh’s law class CANCELED at Harvard next semester

Harvard has canceled Kavanaugh’s law class for next semester, saying that he can’t commit at this point to teaching the class:

WSJ – Harvard Law School told students late Monday that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh would not be teaching there next semester, according to an email viewed by The Wall Street Journal.

“Today, Judge Kavanaugh indicated that he can no longer commit to teaching his course in January Term 2019, so the course will not be offered,” Catherine Claypoole, the school’s dean for academic and faculty affairs, wrote in an email to students.

Judge Kavanaugh has taught at Harvard Law School since 2008.

As of Monday evening, Judge Kavanaugh’s profile no longer appears on the Harvard Law School faculty page. An archived version of the page from last week showed his current courses as “The Supreme Court Since 2005, Winter 2019.” He has taught that class nearly every year since 2014.

In his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee last week, Judge Kavanaugh accused Democrats on the committee of ruining his teaching career. “I loved teaching law,” he said. “But thanks to what some of you on this side of the committee have unleashed, I may never be able to teach again.”

My first thought was that he couldn’t commit because he might be a SCOTUS judge soon. But I think it’s bigger than that.

The Boston Globe, in their article, included the email statement above but they framed their first paragraph this way:

Under pressure from students and alumni, Harvard Law School announced Monday that Judge Brett Kavanaugh would not teach his scheduled course in January.

The writer tweeted this:

There have been protests and outrage at Harvard as Kavanaugh’s character assassination has been front and center in the media.

My guess is that the environment is too toxic for Kavanaugh to commit at this point and that’s why this is happening. Who’d wanna go teach in that environment after what the Democrats have done to him?

So I bet this has little to do with his actual nomination and everything to do with his life being ruined by baby murderers.
