It didn’t take long for the people living in Martha’s Vineyard to deport the 50 illegals that DeSantis sent them on Wednesday.
It was announced this morning that the illegals were being moved off the island to Joint Base Cape Cod.
Inbox: @MassGovernor announces effort to move approximately 50 migrants from Edgartown to Joint Base Cape Cod *today*, and will be activating the Massachusetts National Guard as part of the relief effort.
The move will be voluntary, Baker’s office said.

Samantha Gross tweeted a followup saying:
“An emotional scene as folks say goodbye to volunteers and load buses out of Edgartown.
One young man told me that the residents of Edgartown received them with love, and that he will carry their memory “in my mind and my heart.””
Amazing. 50 illegals are there for two days and they’re already getting kicked off the island.
And what’s more is that the people living at Martha’s Vineyard are probably patting themselves on the back thinking they’ve really done something. But they only had these illegals for two days. And it was only 50 of them! Many of these border cities receive thousands upon thousands of illegals every week/month and they can’t just dump them off to other cities because they just keep coming, thanks to Joe Biden.
