Senate Minority leader Mitch McCconnell finally released a statement today on last night’s FBI raid of Trump’s home.
In it, he essentially demanded that Garland immediately justify that raid because he owes it to the American people:
New Mitch McConnell statement: “The country deserves a thorough and immediate explanation of what led to the events of Monday. Attorney General Garland and the Department of Justice should already have provided answers to the American people and must do so immediately.”

I think earlier today when McConnell was asked about it, he said ‘no comment’.
It’s about time he said something. I get the feeling though that he only released this statement because of all the pressure being put on him.
Whatever the case, he’s not wrong. But many feel this statement is about 12 hours too late.
