It’s breaking now that Megyn Kelly is leaving Fox News and heading for NBC News to host her own daytime show as well as a Sunday night news show:
POLITICO – Megyn Kelly, one of Fox News Channel’s star anchors, is leaving to join NBC for a new multi-part role, an NBC News source confirmed.
Kelly will host her own daytime program, anchor an in-depth Sunday night news show and be a regular contributor to NBC News’ special events coverage, according to the New York Times which first broke the news.
A Fox News spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
This is a huge blow to Fox News, as Kelly was one of the last great nightly anchors on the show.
