It’s being reported that the former NY mayor Michael Bloomberg has officially filed his candidacy for president:

BUT….he reportedly still hasn’t decided to run:
A Bloomberg aide tells me that the former mayor has NOT yet made a final decision on whether to run, despite today's filing. (The FEC paperwork makes it easier legally to spend money on a possible campaign, I believe.)

For someone who is making all these moves to get on the ballot in early states and is now officially filing his candidacy for president, I don’t think many people are going to believe he hasn’t decided yet.
In fact I think many will notice the irony that he’s filing his candidacy the morning after the Democratic debate on MSNBC, suggesting he’s not confident in the current candidates and feels there’s an opening for him to run and possibly win.
