Here’s a little more from a Star Tribune reporter:
NEW: Minnesota Department of Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington said he just received information that the officer identified as Derrick Chauvin in the death of George Floyd has been taken into custody by the BCA

There will be a press release later today on this. With that the announcement is over. He just got word as the other press conference was wrapping up.

Harrington said just one officer was taken into custody, so not the other three officers who were involved.

There was no more information on charging, because that's in the jurisdiction of the Hennepin County Attorney, Harrington said

This is interesting considering the statement by the Hennepin County prosecutor yesterday, that there was other evidence that didn’t support a criminal charge.
We’ll try and bring you the press conference when it happens. I just hope they aren’t arresting Chauvin out of tremendous ‘pressure’ surrounding this case top stop the violence, and are doing it because he’s truly guilty.
UPDATE: I’m going to add a live stream for the Hennepin County prosecutor’s press conference here as well, at it should be happening at 2PM also:
