BREAKING: Minnesota cop killer identified and it turns out he was PROHIBITED from owning a firearm

Over the weekend three first responders, two police officers and one paramedic, were gunned down by a leftist cop-killer in Minnesota after they attempted to respond to a domestic abuse call.

The two police officers negotiated with the gunman for hours after he barricaded himself into his home with multiple guns and a lot of ammo. His family was in the home with him, which included seven children aged 2 to 15.

The gunman opened fire on the officers, one of which was in the home, and shot the paramedic as he was tending to one of the police officers who had been shot.

He’s now been identified as Shannon Gooden and he was prohibited from owning or possessing a gun of any kind.

• The man responsible for the deaths of two police officers and an EMT, identified as Shannon Cortez Gooden, was prohibited from possessing firearms due to a 2008 2nd-degree felony assault conviction.

• Despite a 2019 petition to restore his firearm rights, a judge denied Gooden’s request in October 2020, as per court records.

• On Feb. 18, 2024, at 2 a.m., Gooden opened fire on first responders from a second-floor window of his rented house on 33rd Avenue South in Burnsville, during a domestic situation involving his family.

• Police say Gooden was barricaded with his family, including seven children aged 2-15, inside the home, they were unharmed.

• The incident resulted in the deaths of Burnsville police officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge, as well as firefighter/paramedic Adam Finseth. Gooden took his own life.

• Court records indicate that Gooden had two order for protection petitions filed against him, one alleging domestic abuse and the other alleging domestic assault.

I’m sure Democrats will claim that guns were the cause of these senseless deaths of our best and finest, but to anyone with common sense that’s absolute garbage.
