UPDATE: SHOOTER, TWO BAILIFFS DEAD AT BERRIEN COURTHOUSE SHOOTING IN MICHIGAN

Well here we go again. A shooting has just occurred at the Berrien County Courthouse in Michigan and multiple people are reported shot, including a police officer

WNDU – Emergency crews are responding to a shooting at the Berrien County Courthouse in St. Joseph.

It happened around 2:20 p.m. Monday afternoon.

As of 2:45 p.m., Berrien County police dispatch has only confirmed a heavy police presence at the courthouse.

Our reporting partners at WSJM have confirmed that shots were fired and that the courthouse has been evacuated.

A viewer called NewsCenter 16 to say that her friend works in the courthouse and that a shooting did occur.

***UPDATE: THREE PEOPLE DEAD…

WZZM – At least three people are dead at the Berrien County Courthouse following a shooting, an employee at the county prosecutor’s office said.

Three people are dead and one person is injured, said the employee, who wished not to be named. Michigan State Police confirmed the shooting around 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 11.

Two of the people dead are court bailiffs. The other person dead is the shooter, the employee said.
