BREAKING: No police officers will be charged in the shooting of Jacob Blake

Get ready for riots. It’s just been announced that no officers will be charged in the shooting of Jacob Blake, which happened in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year:

The Wisconsin police officers involved in the shooting of Jacob Blake last year, igniting several days of unrest that included two fatal shootings, will not face criminal charges, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley also said Blake will not face charges.

Sheskey, who is White, shot Blake during a response to an Aug. 23 domestic disturbance call. Video footage of the incident captured Blake walking away from the officer and around a vehicle with his children inside when he was shot several times.

The shooting left Blake paralyzed and sparked protests that devolved into riots. The unrest included two fatal shootings and destruction to property.

Here’s video of the announcement:

It’s obvious to many of us that there should be no charges against these officers, especially after it was revealed that Blake had a knife and refused to drop it while ignoring the commands of officers to surrender.

But check out how this is being portrayed by the Washington Post:

So completely irresponsible. You’d think reading that headline that this was a travesty, that guilty officers are going free. And you might want to get out there and burn down Kenosha again, if you were that type of person.

It’s also being reported that Blake himself will face no charges:

Matt Walsh says this is the real injustice here:

On one hand I agree with him. But on the other, Blake has suffered tremendously for his actions and is paralyzed now below the waist. For that reason, it doesn’t bother me as much as it does Walsh.
