The Ohio House has just overridden the veto by Governor DeWine of the bill banning transgender surgeries for minors. The vote to override was overwhelming and now it will head to the Ohio Senate, where they are also expected to do the same.
Here’s the news:
BREAKING: The Ohio House of Reps. just voted 65-28 to override Gov. @MikeDeWine's pathetic veto of the bill to ban sex changes for minors and boys from playing girl's sports.
Once the senate follows suit, it will become law.

I’m so glad they are doing this. DeWine’s reversal and subsequent executive order really doesn’t mean much, but this soon-to-be law will be permanent.
