BREAKING: One “severely injured” after Houthis missile attack on Polish ship while a different ship SINKS in Red Sea

The Houthis are continuing their daily attacks on ships in the Red Sea, attacking a Polish cargo ship with two missiles and severely injuring one of the civilian mariners.

Here’s what CENTCOM reports:

Yesterday, Iranian-backed Houthis struck M/V Verbena, a Palauan flagged, Ukrainian owned, Polish operated bulk cargo carrier, in two separate missile attacks resulting in fires on board. One civilian mariner was medically evacuated due to severe injuries. The crew of M/V Verbena extinguished the fire and have resumed their transit in the Gulf of Aden.

Two days ago we told you about an attack on the M/V Tutor and all that was reported was that there was severe flooding and damage to the engine room. Now CENTCOM reveals the damage was far worse and the ship is now sinking in the Red Sea:

On June 12, Iranian-backed Houthis struck M/V Tutor, a Liberian flagged, Greek owned and operated bulk cargo carrier, with an uncrewed surface vessel (USV) resulting in severe flooding and damage to the engine room. One civilian mariner remains missing following the attack. The crew abandoned ship and were rescued by USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) and partner forces. M/V Tutor remains in the Red Sea and is slowly taking on water.

How much longer is this going to continue? Is this just the way of life now in the Red Sea? Do ships have to just get used to potentially being sunk just because they are traveling past Yemen? When is someone in the White House or any other country, for that matter, going to take this seriously enough to put a stop to it???

This is the definition of weakness! And it’s not just on Biden to put a stop to it, but he should be LEADING the way.
