Over 50 countries are now calling President Trump to negotiate after his new reciprocal tariffs went into effect last week, according to White House National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett.

Hassett’s point is that these countries want to negotiate because they know these tariffs are going to cost them a lot of money. Because of this he doesn’t believe that American consumers the ones who will take a big hit.
