The Pacific Palisades wildfire was 8% contained yesterday and is only 11% contained today and has consumed nearly 23,000 acres, according to a Los Angeles Fire Chief.

The Eaton fire has consumed over 14,100 acres and is only 15% contained.
Bot the Kenneth and Hurst wildfires are mostly contained at this point having consumed less than 2,000 acres between them. The Kenneth Fire is 80% contained and the Hust fire is 76% contained.
This same fire chief claimed “It wasn’t for a lack of preparation and decision making that resulted in this catastrophe. It was a natural disaster.”

Yeah nobody believes that. This fire chief wants to keep his job and is lying through his teeth, just as the mayor instructed him to do.

The Palisades fire is now threatening Brentwood, which is a new zone in LA:
