**UPDATE: AL-QAEDA CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR PARIS ATTACK

UPDATE 3: Al-Qaeda member says they directed Paris attack in Yemen:

Wait, how can this be? Obama said he decimated Al Qaeda back in 2012 and had them on the run. This can’t be true. Obama never lies!

UPDATE 2: Not all of the hostages were freed as earlier reported. At least 4 hostages are now being reported dead from the kosher supermarket hostage standoff and there were apparently as many as 15-20 hostages.

Here are two reports from Fox News. The first is from Shep Smith he breaks down exactly what happened at both police standoffs in France. This one is crucial to understanding who was where and what went down:

This second report from Fox News is Greg Palkot explaining that there may have been as many as 15-20 hostages at the kosher supermarket which was unknown until now, which led to misreportings. Even right before this, in the clip above, Shep said there were possibly 9 hostages which was wrong. So this one is crucial as well.

So at this point it seems that at least 10 hostages were freed but 4 were killed. And the gunman at the kosher supermarket is also dead. Not sure about his female accomplice.

Also, the 2 Charlie Hedbo killers are dead as well.

There are reports that the murderers of the French cartoonists have been found and cornered:

From the Daily Mail:

The Charlie Hebdo gunmen were today exchanging fire with police as they held hostages on an industrial estate near a Paris airport.

At least two people were killed and several wounded before Cherif and Said Kouachi entered business premises in the village of Dammartin-en-Goele, north-east of Paris.

They are believed to have taken hostages in a storage unit, which is now surrounded by police commandos.

As helicopters hovered overhead, France’s Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said: ‘A police operation is underway.’

The suspects were holed up in a small printing business named CTD, a source close to the investigation said. ‘It’s not sure how many people are inside,’ the source said.

Prior to the standoff, the suspects had hijacked a Peugeot 206 in Montagny-Sainte-Felicite from a woman who said she recognised them as the wanted men, a police source said.

The standoff was close to the same area where special police forces had been combing the countryside for the brothers.

Dozens of police had earlier pursued the brothers along the National 2 highway, ending in the small town of Dammartin-en-Goele, around 7 miles from Charles de Gaulle international airport.

The dramatic development came after thousands of police and soldiers had focused their hunt for the gunmen in a nearby forest amid fears they were planning a final ‘spectacular’ before capture.
