86-year-old Paul Pelosi, husband of the despicable Nancy Pelosi, has been referred to the District Attorney’s office in Napa County, California, for hitting and damaging a car and then leaving the scene.

Paul Pelosi, husband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, is suspected of crashing into a parked car and leaving the scene over the Fourth of July weekend, law enforcement officials said Saturday.
The Napa County Sheriff’s Office said that on Friday in Yountville, California, a witness reported a brown convertible striking a legally parked, unoccupied vehicle, stopping briefly and driving away. The parked car sustained major rear damage.
An investigation led officials to Paul Pelosi, 86, who officials confirmed as Nancy Pelosi’s husband. The Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that he admitted hitting something but did not know what he hit, so kept driving until his car became disabled. Officials said an investigation detected no alcohol, and that driving under the influence was ruled out.
The office said it was referring the case to the Napa County District Attorney’s Office for review and possible prosecution, and that Pelosi was not arrested “in accordance with misdemeanor arrest laws.”
A spokesperson for the Pelosi family said Paul Pelosi has “apologized to the owner of the vehicle and assured them that he would take responsibility for the damage to their vehicle.”
In 2022, Paul Pelosi pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence charges related to a crash that year in California’s wine country.
