BREAKING: Pentagon authorizes National Guard in DC for nearly the rest of the year

The National Guard in Washington, D.C. isn’t going anywhere. On the same day that the D.C. attorney general filed a lawsuit over the National Guard deployment in the nation’s capital, the Pentagon authorized the Guard to remain there until the end of November:

Good. And I think the residents of D.C. will welcome it because crime is virtually non-existent since Trump’s surge began.
