The Pentagon was put on lockdown this morning amid reports of gunfire at the Pentagon Transit Center. An AP reporter was at the station at the time and reported the sound of gunshots being fired.
Initial reports were sketchy on details but new information has since come out about some of what happened.
It is not clear whether there were one or two suspects, but it seems to be only one. It is not definite that the shots fired were all from the police, but we do know that the AP is now reporting one Pentagon police officer is dead after being stabbed.
