BREAKING: President Trump announces his nominee for Treasury Secretary

President-elect Trump has just announced his nominee for Treasury Secretary and he’s naming Scott Bessent to the position.

President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team is preparing to announce that he has selected Scott Bessent, who runs macro hedge fund Key Square Group, as the next US Treasury secretary.

Bessent, who is openly gay, was a protege of George Soros and later went on to become the chief investment officer of Soros’ fund.

He is a longtime Trump supporter.

We’ll see if Elon was right about Bessent. Remember, he wanted Howard Lutnick to be the Treasury nominee, claiming Bessent was the business-as-usual pick.
