President Trump departs White House aboard Marine One for Walter Reed Hospital out of ‘Abundance of CAUTION’

The President has a low-grade fever and other mild symptoms associated with the Covid-19 China virus and is being checked in to the Walter Reed Medical Center for observation out of “an abundance of caution” said White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany a short time ago.

“Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the President will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days,” says McEnany. “President Trump appreciates the outpouring of support for both he and the First Lady.”

This is obviously an appropriate measure. Whatever anyone’s political beliefs about Trump, OR about the China virus, it’s the proper thing to do with the darn PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES under the circumstances. It doesn’t mean panic, and it doesn’t mean “they’re trying to scare us” or anything like that. It’s just the right thing to do.

Here’s some footage from just minutes ago via live stream of Marine One departing from the White House lawn.

“President Trump remains in good spirts, has mild symptoms, and has been working throughout the day,” McEnany told reporters today. She also shared the latest update from the President’s physician earlier this afternoon.

This is the proper role and footing for the White House at this time. Calm, but taking precautions as they must with the leader of the free world. But it doesn’t mean Trump ain’t gonna be Trump.

He went to the helicopter walking tall.

He also put out a video before heading out there.

I’ll be praying for the Trumps. I hope all of y’all will do the same.
