BREAKING REPORT: Florida is completely off the table for Democrats by a whopping number of GOP registrations

The state of Florida is completely off the table in 20204 for Democrats by a whopping number of Republican voter registrations thanks to Governor DeSantis and the conservative Republican legislature.

Here’s the news:

While it’s now common knowledge, even among the Biden reelection campaign, that Florida is off the table for Democrats, the magnitude of that swing since Gov. Ron DeSantis took office will play a pivotal role in securing Republicans 30 electoral votes for at least the next two presidential elections.

Florida was a bellwether since the 2020 election, the year it finally bucked the nation, trended Republican while the nation trended Democrat, and gave its electoral votes to the candidate who ultimately did not become president.

DeSantis won in 2018 by a razor thin 0.4% – 32,463 votes – over Democrat Andrew Gillum, in perhaps the most consequential election in Florida politics in decades because of the shift it paved the way for.

Florida was still becoming easier for Republicans heading into the former President Donald Trump years – the state, as it proved in 2020, was a uniquely “Trump-friendly” state compared to some other battlegrounds.

The former president’s endorsement helped ward off statewide GOP losses in a 2018 “blue wave” year, not just for the governor but now-Republican Sen. Rick Scott, who won by a razor thin 0.12%.

Florida’s Voice has been covering the Republican Party of Florida’s latest registration leads, which seemingly reach a new milestone every few weeks, under Chairman Evan Power.

While the GOP’s lead now nears 960,000 as of Monday, it’s important to note where Republicans came from in a pre-DeSantis Florida.

To quote Joe Biden, this really is a “big ******* deal” and it shows what true conservative leadership can do for a state. People don’t think it’s possible to turn a purple state solid red but DeSantis has proved them all wrong.
