Republicans in New York’s 17th district are celebrating as the incumbent Democrat has just conceded the race.
Michael Lawler, who is currently leading by more than 3,000 votes, has now defeated Sean Patrick Maloney, who also ran the DCCC.

Just to put this in context, Maloney won in 2020 by close to 13 points against his Republican opponent. That’s what Lawler had to overcome and he did.
This seat is one of the flips I’ve been expecting from New York and this puts Republican flips at 11 seats now. And I’m still expecting more…
