BREAKING: Rick Scott ELIMINATED from being Senate Leader – UPDATE: JOHN THUNE WINS

Senator Rick Scott was just eliminated from being Senate Leader after he only got 12 votes from Republicans to lead the Senate.

As predicted:

So it will either be Thune or Cornyn and my guess is it will be Thune since he got 23 votes on the first ballot.

Pardon me if I don’t share my excitement for either of these two McConnell wet noodles winning the highest post in the Senate. I hope both of them prove me wrong but after living in McConnell’s shadow for so long, I don’t have high hopes.
