President Trump just announced that Sarah Sanders will be leaving her job as Press Secretary at the White House at the end of June:
After 3 1/2 years, our wonderful Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be leaving the White House at the end of the month and going home to the Great State of Arkansas….

….She is a very special person with extraordinary talents, who has done an incredible job! I hope she decides to run for Governor of Arkansas – she would be fantastic. Sarah, thank you for a job well done!

I think Trump might have his math wrong there, as he’s only been president for 2.5 years.
In any event, I’m sure the media will find some dirt as the reason to explain her departure and declared it as chaos in the White House or something.
What they are saying now is that Sanders wants to run for governor of Arkansas and that’s why Trump made the comment he did. That will be interesting…
Well, @realDonaldTrump is losing @PressSec who is a great one and I say that with as much objectivity as Fake News CNN has toward @POTUS https://t.co/Gxnrwc43pP

People hate on her, but Sarah Sanders did an incredible job in a thankless role – at just 36 years old. She will be difficult to replace, but it certainly will be a key role as we enter the next 18 months. Trump would be smart to hire someone who REALLY gets the media.
