The Secretary of the Senate has just made know that they cannot comply with Biden’s request to search for Tara Reade’s complaint against Biden due to confidentiality restrictions under current law:
Breaking:Secretary of Senate turns down Biden request to search for records of any complaint filed by Tara Reade. In email, spokeswoman says legal counsel has advised there is "no discretion" to search for such records because they would be confidential under current law.

My cynical thinking on this is that Team Biden knew the Secretary of the Senate would not be able to comply with their request as this would be confidential. But they did it anyway to try and give themselves a new talking point in order to try and get out from under all of this.
In a tweet over the weekend, Reade suggested that Biden knows where her complaint resides, saying “I filed the intake form regarding sexual harassment and retaliation however that was articulated on form in 1993. I filed with Senate Personnel. Perhaps Joe Biden knows where that form is located. Ask him.”
