UPDATE: ALL CLEAR – Security alert at White House

It’s just being reported that there’s some kind of security alert at the White House, such that they’ve moved all the press into the White House briefing room for their protection.

Here’s the reporting:

Secret Service is moving press into briefing room at the White House because of a security alert of some kind.

Now this may end up being nothing, but they don’t remove press tents front the lawn of the White House without a reason.

I’ll update this with more as soon as I get it.

UPDATE: An all clear was given on whatever the security issue was on the perimeter of the White House.
