The US Senate has just confirmed Kevin Warsh as the new Fed Chairman who will replace outgoing Jerome Powell, whose last day is on Friday.
One Democrat voted for Warsh, and that was Senator Fetterman:
By a vote of 54-45, the #Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #727, Kevin Warsh to be Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of four years.
Dem Senator Fetterman voted in favor.
Senator Gillibrand did not vote.
