The Senate has just announced that it is moving forward with the confirmation vote on Brett Kavanaugh, saying they’ve scheduled the first procedural floor vote for Saturday after tomorrow morning’s committee vote:
Plan is for the Judiciary Committee to vote tomorrow. Motion to proceed on the Senate floor on Saturday at noon, per senators leaving the meeting

That will be procedural vote. Unclear if GOP has 50.

I’m so glad they aren’t delaying the voting any longer. This must happen. Kavanaugh just had his reputation and his family drug through the mud because Democrats wanted to destroy him.
And I think it is a good sign that they do have or will have the votes by the early part of next week, whey they hold the final floor vote. It should happen on Tuesday if I’m not mistaken.
It’s also been reported that Murkowski, Collins, Flake, and Manchin have been huddling together in private after the hearing to figure out what they want to do. Perhaps this move is a sign that they are voting for him. We’ll see.
