Breaking! Sessions WILL testify before Senate Committee, but NOT appropriations comm

Well this is interesting. Sessions has changed his mind and will not be testifying on the Russian investigation.

Here’s the statement:

Uh, it sounds like he’s using recusal as an excuse to avoid giving testimony, but that’s not what recusal means. Recusal is intended to protect an investigation from potentially biased actors, it’s not supposed to be used to protect that actor from testifying!! LOL!! Words are meaningless.

UPDATE: OK, so I was tricked by bad wording in the tweets I read. Sessions is refusing a scheduled testimony before one committee, but WILL testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Also, this might bolster the reports that Trump is very angry at Sessions over his recusal….
