BREAKING: Sheriff confirms ‘LIVE round fired from the revolver’ by Alec Baldwin; IF crime occurred, arrests WILL be made.

Everyone here already knew this, and TMZ and other outlets had all but confirmed it already through various on-set sources, but now it is official. The Sheriff’s office just confirmed that it was a live round fired by Alec Baldwin that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of “Rust.”

He also made it clear there’d be no special treatment. If a crime occurred, and they have probable cause, he said, then an arrest or arrests will be made and charges will be filed.

“The actual lead projectile that was fired has been recovered from the shoulder of Mr. Souza,” said the Sheriff. “We regard this specific spent casing and recovered projectile to be the live round that was fired from the revolver by Mr. Baldwin.”

Notice that he said there were also OTHER live rounds.

Meanwhile, a TODAY show reporter said safety protocols on the set were awesome because, and I kid you not, they were all WEARING MASKS.
