Zero Hedge confirms this, noting that once a case is put on the docket, that means it will be heard. So Texas is off to a great start!
In related news, Sidney Powell has now filed an emergency appeal with the 11th Circuit after her case was dismissed in Georgia yesterday:
FOX NEWS – Attorney Sidney Powell is filing an emergency appeal with the 11th Circuit after a Georgia federal judge dismissed her challenge of the state’s results in the presidential election.
Powell’s efforts come on the “safe harbor” day, which federal statute says is the final day for election disputes to be resolved before Congress is bound to accept the results.
“Plaintiffs request this Court immediately transmit this notice of appeal to the Eleventh Circuit so that that court may docket the matter,” Powell said in her notice of appeal, “thus enabling Plaintiffs to proceed as quickly as possible to have these urgent issues of national importance addressed.”
The fact that it is already ‘safe harbor’ day as this appeal is being filed doesn’t fill me with optimism for the success of Powell’s case.
When she announced her ‘kraken’ case a few weeks ago, I was expecting a lot more traction that she’s gotten up to this point. Unlike others, I’m still in wait-and-see mode and don’t want to be overly pessimistic, but I don’t get the sense that her case is going to prevail.
