The Supreme Court will finally decide on the issue of schools allowing transgender pretenders to compete and dominate in female sports.
According to Jonathan Turley, this will be decided before the midterms:
The Supreme Court is finally going to bring (hopefully) clarity to the controversy over transgender athletes. Oral arguments are expected to be heard this fall in two cases, one in Idaho and the other in West Virginia. Roughly two dozen states have laws barring such participation

…This will also mean that these potentially historic cases will be heard before the midterm elections. It could further elevate the issue of transgender rights in various races around the country.

Democrats and undoubtedly planning on how to use a potential negative ruling for them, but this issue isn’t like abortion. I think most people actually realize just how unfair the it is to allow mentally ill boys to dominate female sports, and thus I think a good ruling on this will only help Republicans.
