The Supreme Court isn’t issuing a final decision today on the baby-killing drug mifepristone.
Rather, it extended access to the drug until the end of Friday by furthering a stay on the court ruling that restricted access to it in the first place.
New: The Supreme Court extends the administrative stay in the abortion pill dispute. New restrictions remain on hold until 11:59 p.m. on Friday. Here's that order: https://t.co/xrbcoB3mrZ

The text of the order reads as follows:
UPON FURTHER CONSIDERATION of the application of counsel for the applicants, the response, and the reply filed thereto, IT IS ORDERED that the stay issued on April 14, 2023, is hereby extended until 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on Friday, April 21, 2023.
I guess they need more time to argue this behind closed doors. Shannon Bream on Fox News believes this extension signifies that the court is taking the decision very seriously, especially since this won’t be a ruling on the merits since there’s a trial scheduled that will deal with that.
I hope that the same court that overturned Roe v Wade will nix the drug because of its devastating consequences to the unborn. But we’ll see.
