The hits keep coming for Hunter Biden today. According to a new report, the sweetheart deal offered to Hunter Biden by the DOJ is now unlikely, which means the DOJ’s prosecution of Hunter Biden will be headed to trial.
Here’s the reporting from Politico reporter Kyle Cheney:
Wow. News of a special prosecutor and a trial for Hunter Biden all in the same day. I wonder what Daddy Joe has to say about all of this? He can’t be happy about it.
It’s also reported that the venue for the trial could be California or DC…
Prosecutors also say venue for the charges is in either California or DC. Rather, venue for these offenses and any other related tax offenses lies either in the Central District of California or in the District of Columbia pic.twitter.com/5CG52DjwKk

UPDATE: It appears the new Special Prosecutor is sending this to trial…
Weiss has now filed a document making clear that the plea deal with Hunter Biden has collapsed: "Following additional negotiations after the hearing held on July 26, 2023, the parties are at an impasse and are not in agreement on either a plea agreement or a diversion agreement."
