BREAKING: Senate Democrats have officially filibustered & blocked a motion to proceed to debating @SenatorTimScott’s police reform bill. Disgraceful. https://t.co/gT3UMiApgz

In response to this, Senator Tim Scott scorches Democrats for playing politics in another epic speech:

I love the point he made to Democrats, saying why not take the 80% that you can get now and try to win the election and get the other 20% that they want. Who could possibly argue with that logic!
But he rightly points out that Democrats don’t want Republicans to be seen as reaching out to all communities in this nation.
I’ll post his full speech as soon as I get it.
UPDATE: Here’s more from Scott’s speech, where he goes after Pelosi for the heinous thing she said about Republicans trying to get away with the murder of George Floyd:
Tim Scott slams Pelosi for saying Republicans are trying to cover up George Floyd's murder with police reform legislation:
"She knows that she can say that because the Democrats have a monopoly on the black vote." pic.twitter.com/qbk5vsAQUd

UPDATE: I found this video from yesterday on Tim Scott’s youtube channel where he went on the Daily Show to discuss his legislation and it went very well in my opinion:
I thought it was a great interview. My only concern is that while Trevor agreed with Scott that getting 80% is better that getting 0% with a failure, will he still feel the same way now that Democrats have blocked his legislation? Will he hold them to account for rejecting it completely?
