Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent suggested that talks with China over the weekend went very well, saying there’s been a “great deal of productivity” in the trade talks:
I can’t wait to hear what they accomplished in this meeting with China. We know from what Trump said that they negotiated a total reset, so it’ll be interesting to find out exactly what that entails.

Bessent made it sound like productive talks, but I didn’t realize from what he said that a trade deal was actually made. So there you go. Details tomorrow.
