AG Bill Barr just resigned from his job, per President Trump announcing it on Twitter:
Just had a very nice meeting with Attorney General Bill Barr at the White House. Our relationship has been a very good one, he has done an outstanding job! As per letter, Bill will be leaving just before Christmas to spend the holidays with his family…

President Trump adds that Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen will become the new acting AG:

I know Trump is saying Barr ‘resigned’ and singing his praise, but we all know Trump wasn’t happy with Barr. But I think we also know that Barr wasn’t terribly happy with the job recently, specifically the way the media misrepresented what he said the other week regarding election fraud. So as much as Trump probably wanted him out, I think Barr probably wanted to leave as well.
