At tonight’s official Supreme Court Justice swearing-in ceremony for Brett Kavanaugh, Trump took a few moments at the beginning to apologize to Kavanaugh for the recent pain and suffering that he and his family had been forced to endure.

That was a great gesture by Trump and very fitting. Kavanaugh and his family deserve much better than they received from Democrats in the last few weeks and it’s wonderful that Trump sought to try and mend their wound with an official apology on behalf of the country.
