[UPDATE: BIDEN REJECTS] – Trump campaign proposes delaying next debate for it to be in-person

Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien has just released a proposal to delay the debates so they can still be in-person:

Stepien doesn’t pull any punches, accusing the CPD of doing this to protect Joe Biden and says it is ‘extremely suspect’ that the commission made this announcement after Pence’s ‘complete victory’.

He also brings up the point that Biden would no doubt be relying on his teleprompters in a virtual debate where he’d be in his basement, and says that’s a non-starter.

He proposes doing the second debate on the 22nd of October and delaying the 3rd to October 29th. Sounds completely reasonable to me, but I’m sure the Biden campaign will object because they’d love for him to do a virtual debate in his basement where he can cheat, like he’s been doing all year.

UPDATE: Joe Biden has just rejected Trump’s proposal to delay the second and third debates:

What a stupid response. Trump didn’t pull out of the debate because of his ‘erratic behavior’. Trump said NO to the debate because the debate commission unilaterally changed the nature of the debate without even asking, and a virtual debate would most certainly benefit Biden who will cheat through the entire debate with teleprompters and ear pieces or however they do it. Biden is just making excuses now.
