It’s being reported that Trump just signed a phase one trade deal with China which includes a delay in tariffs set to go into effect on December 15:

Trump had tweeted a few hours ago that he was very close to a deal with China:

It should also be noted that news of the deal sent the stock market soaring:
The major stock indexes surged to new intraday highs on reports that the U.S. and China have "an agreement in principle" on a phase one trade deal.
