President Trump just cancelled both Steve Wikoff and Jared Kushner’s trip to Pakistan to meet with Iranians, saying he did it as they were getting ready to leave.

“I’ve told my people a little while ago they were getting ready to leave, and I said, ‘Nope, you’re not making an 18 hour flight to go there. We have all the cards. They can call us anytime they want, but you’re not going to be making any more 18 hour flights to sit around talking about nothing’.”

I was under the impression they’d already left. Regardless, this news comes after we reported that the Iranian FM was unwilling to meet with US officials and left Pakistan. I’m glad they hadn’t left yet, but the bottom line still looks to the same to me. The Iranians are playing President Trump and it’s about time he put his foot down and took out these regime officials. Otherwise, I don’t see how he wins this.
