President-elect Trump sent a stern message to Senate Republicans today about his nominees, telling them not to make a deal with Democrats to fast-track nominations during this Congress, which ends before January 6th.
Trump wrote “To all Senate Republicans: NO DEAL WITH DEMOCRATS TO FAST TRACK NOMINATIONS AT THE END OF THIS CONGRESS. I won the biggest mandate in 129 years. I will make my appointments of Very Qualified People in January when I am sworn in.”
Schumer wants to fast-track more Biden judicial nominees and that’s what Trump is trying to stop. Obviously, because he wants to appoint his own nominees whether it be judicial, trade or anything else.
Why would the Senate fast track Biden trade nominees who are opposed to Donald Trump’s trade policy? I won’t give consent for this https://t.co/Pscb8zn7u4
