Under the direction of Secretary Pompeo, the State Department has just announced they are expanding the Mexico City Policy in order to prevent US taxpayer dollars from subsidizing more abortions.
Before now, the Mexico City policy wouldn’t allow any foreign NGO that receives US money to provide abortion services or refer women to have abortions elsewhere. In fact they can’t even talk about abortion.
As of this announcement, these same foreign NGOs can now no longer fund other organizations that provide these abortion services.

Any position the Trump administration can take to dismantle the global abortion industry will no doubt save lives. This is fantastic news and I’m glad Pompeo, a Christian, is leading Trump’s state department.
