STILLWATER, Oklahoma – We’re told two people are dead and several others are hurt at the Oklahoma State University Homecoming Parade Saturday. A vehicle ran into the crowd causing multiple injuries and at least two fatalities.

Witnesses tell News On 6 it was terrifying as a car crashed into parade watchers at high speed. The car was not part of the parade but was on Hall of Fame before crashing into crowds on Main Street. A motorcyclist was also hit, and we’re hearing reports it may have been a police unit.

Von Castor, News On 6 storm chaser, says two fatalities have been confirmed and several other people are injured.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the incident took place near Hall of Fame and Main Street. They are assisting Stillwater Police.

At least three medical helicopters were dispatched to the scene.

I’m also seeing rumors that a 25-year-old female has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. What a terrible tragedy that could have been prevented if that’s the cause.
