The United Nations Security Council will be voting today to admit ‘Palestine’ as a full member state of the UN. The vote is said to be held at 5pm ET.
Here’s the news from Barak Ravid:
“The UN security council will vote at 5pm ET on a draft resolution for admitting Palestine as a full member state of the UN.”

Ravid adds that Biden tried to stop Abbas from moving forward with this vote today, which means the US may veto this resolution.
The way I see it, if Biden wants to stand with Israel he’ll veto the resolution. After all, the position of the Biden administration has been that a Palestinian state must be formed through direct negotiations and not forced as this would be. But if he’s worried about winning in November, which is a strong possibility, he’ll just let the resolution pass.
It is possible that several other countries could stop it with a veto, but in my opinion that must be the Biden administration.
We’ll let you know what happens.
